Photography
moments of travel
Photography, for me now, is a connection to that moment in time. Creating art that resonates with a sense of place, and its history, makes each shot rare and singular.
As a 6-year-old boy, heaving around this slightly heavy camera, devoid of a preview window and offering only a modest viewfinder, I was compelled to rely on the precision of the instrument, the training, and a lot of hope.
This experience with photography ingrained in me a deep fascination with precision tools, mechanical gadgets, fabrication, engineering, design, and ultimately, custom watchmaking.
This practice has led me to appreciate details in many places I might have otherwise overlooked. Through the lens, I've gained a gratitude for unexpected situations. And the challenge is to find what's special in that place, and capture it.
