I retired from the US Army after a 26 year career. Enlisted in 1973. Retired in 1998.
Retired as a Major in Special Forces, the Green Berets! I had decided in 1964 that I wanted to earn the Green Beret after watching SSG Barry Sadler sing “The Ballad of the Green Beret” on the Ed Sullivan Show.
I am no hero, but I served with many. SF is a difficult fraternity to join, but the brotherhood is strong.
I worked with Alldaron to design my watch to represent the brotherhood. It was a great experience!
